NFL Betting Tips
If you look
hard enough you'll find a number of betting systems that
are guaranteed to win you thousands of dollars betting
on football and other sports. Only problem is, if you
ever talk to anyone that has purchased one of these
systems you were most likely told they didn't make much,
if anything.
There really
are no foolproof betting systems, but thanks to the
Bodog Sportsbook I have a
few common sense betting tips that you can use to bet on
this weekends NFL games. Since I bet regularly at
Bodog I received these tips in my mailbox and will
now share them with you.
- Toss out those pre-season records. Indianapolis
Colts backup QB Jim Sorgi gets extensive playing time in
preseason, that's how little it matters.
- Be mindful of the teams that love to run the ball and
control the clock. Run-heavy squads like the Titans,
Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants were 36-12 ATS
combined last year.
- Don't believe the
hype on Totals in Week 1, oddsmakers are better than you
think at balancing them early. Totals were 14-18 O/U in
week one last year; hardly a sure thing for either side.
- Check the injury/transaction report before placing
a bet -- for all you know Favre could've retired again.
I think these are
pretty smart tips. Down below you'll also find some
betting stats from last years NFL that can be pretty
useful. Good luck on this weekends games.

Peyton Manning needs audibles, bettors need ATS
records. Without these stats you'd probably be
betting the farm on the Colts every week, even
though they only went 8-7-1 ATS last year. To
have a profitable football season, you need to
watch these records closely |
